More and more countries are looking at policy instruments which will help internalise the cost of carbon damage. Whether via a cap and trade scheme or a carbon tax, the carbon content of our energy supplies and consumption will become costed into our thinking. In this presentation, Dr David Vincent, one of the Directors at the UK Carbon Trust, will describe its work with business to find opportunities to cut energy costs and reduce carbon emissions and to reduce the risk associated with the innovation and deployment of new and emerging low carbon technologies.
